Upani in Diani

Due to an issue with our accommodation, we made a late night booking at the Upani which they accepted and ensured there was someone to meet/check us in. This was appreciated since other hotels in the area would not accept us so late at night. We stayed for two nights and enjoyed the serene and natural surroundings. The swimming pool was amazing. It felt like a warm bath that you didn’t want to get out of.

Me and my family spend few days in Upani and we liked it very much. Our cttage was very comfortable, equipped in everything we needed and it had spacious, private terrace. The property has nice and big swimming pool. Location is good - short tuk tuk ride from a beach (or walking distance if you're not afraid of walking about 1km). The staff is nice and helpful and available pretty much round the clock (we were leaving at 5am and it wasn't an issue - someone was available to open the gate etc.). I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to stay in Diani.

The location is good,far away from street noises,bit far but all good.Mike,the guy I was communicating with was so friendly and so welcoming.He came in the morning to check if we were all OK since we had arrived very late after he left. Overall,I will recommend the place and still go back too.

Upani was beautiful, the rooms were huge and had a lovely balcony where you can watch the monkeys. Set in a very tranquil and green setting and only a short walk to the beach. Beautiful pool and communal areas and Mike was a brilliant host, always ready answer any questions and lent me some books and a much needed phone cable!

Lovely property, consisting of several cute small cottages surrounded by lush tropical vegetation in a quiet side street away from any noise and yet a 5' walk to one of the most stunning white sand beaches in the Indian Ocean. Extremely well maintained; rooms, garden, pool and common areas. Spacious, spotless and comfortable rooms. Strong wifi connection, access to a fully-equipped kitchen and lovely outdoor areas to just relax. Quiet pool area with sunbeds and a surprisingly deep pool -you can even enjoy night swims while admiring the beautiful vegetation. This spot would be already perfect enough for a lovely beach holiday, with plenty of options to explore around the Diani area (snorkelling, mangrove sunset sail...), but what truly makes this place SPECIAL is the staff. Each and everyone of them working at the property makes you feel extremely welcomed and taken care of since the minute you set foot into the place. A home away from home, they took care of us like family, helped us in every way they could and always had a smile and nice words every time we bumped into them. We are lucky enough to travel quite a lot and it is very rare to find such joy at an accomodation.
